Weekly Report of Trial Proceedings: August 23 - August 27, 2010
This week saw the start of Platon Lebedev's testimony. He started by presenting the court with detailed descriptions of how GML, YUKOS and its subsidiaries interacted. Also called to the stand this week by the defense was Mr. Tagirzyan Gilmanov, former Executive Director of key YUKOS asset Yuganskneftegaz.

Platon Lebedev continued to present to the court as Judge Danilkin accepted the defense team's appeal of his decision to extend Khodorkovsky and Lebedev's detention.

Weekly Report of Trial Proceedings: August 16 - August 20, 2010
This week started with Judge Danilkin ruling in favor of the prosecution's motion to again extend Khodorkovsky and Lebedev's arrest. In what has become a ritual every three months, their detention was extended until November 17, 2010. The defense also motioned to question John Romanelli, a specialist who has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. However, Judge Danilkin agreed with protests from the prosecution to have Romanelli disqualified.
Courtroom Report: August 18, 2010
Today's hearing started with Judge Danilkin ruling in favor of the prosecution's motion to disqualify defense specialist Laura Hardin. Then, former YUKOS executive Vladimir Malahovsky who is currently in jail on the same charges as Khodorkovsky and Lebedev, gave his testimony, refuting many of the charges.
